We have three beautifully curated wedding packages that have worked for many many couples over the years and we hope one of them may work for you too!

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

Yes we love doing destination weddings. Prices cover the photographer’s travel within a 40 km radius of GQ, Eastern Cape. Any shoots outside the area are subject to a R5.00 per kilometre surcharge to cover travel costs.

For distance beyond 70km the Client is also responsible for

providing accomodation.

2. how do i secure a booking with eminjay?

In order to book with us, we require a 50% non-refundable and non-exchangable booking fee to be made. This is 50% of the package fee, not an additional cost on top of the package. We also would ask you to complete and sign a contract to secure the booking. We are willing to hold your booking for a period of 10 days during the booking process. After the 10 days we will have to unfortunately make the date available again to other clients.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We do reschedule for certain reasons, including bad weather and an unforeseen circumstance from us or the client. If the client can let us know within due time before the shoot we can move the date to our next joint available date. In terms of cancelations we then keep our deposit amount and the rest is not owed to us but the session will be terminated.

4. when do we get our photos?

After the wedding, we will select the best photos from the day and send them through within the first 2 weeks after the event. Each photo will go through a process of post production. The photo count (de-pendent on the package) will contain a mixture of black and white and colour images. A private gallery with all your images will be made available to the client within 10-12 weeks but with current rate of shoot we are moving into more of a 12-15 week process.

We will not release any RAW (unedited) files to the client.

5. Do you have a recommended videographer?

We actually do film as well as photo. It is not our main focus but we are able to provide you with a short film filled with moments from your big day.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Megs is always happy to get inspiration from your Pinterest board of dreams to find ideas for poses you may like. Although we will add in some classics we love we will be sure to add in ones from your board. We always like to make sure couples note they will never replicate the Pinterest photos exactly but we will make an effort to get them to be similar.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Yes, for weddings we always meet with both the bride and groom to be to chat through the big day and all details regarding the timeline and anything they need us to know.

8. do you always work together?

Not always. Jay does have other weekend work and so sometimes if an event only requires one shooter, Megs will take that on alone but if film is included Jay will always join. If a couple requests a second shooter for a wedding and Jay is not able to join, a second shooter will be found by Eminjay.
